Men’s Group

If you want to get away from Eastenders for an evening, why not think of the Men’s Group.

With a steady attendance in the teens, the Men’s Group meets to enjoy talks from invited speakers and enjoy the fellowship over refreshments afterwards. If you are free on Tuesday evenings at the end of the month, and you want to miss Holby City as well, why not come along and give it a try, you would be made very welcome.

12yrs ago the Ladies Groups were well established when Steve Westby’s wish for the men of the church to have their own regular monthly meeting came to fruition. Since then, on the 4th Tuesday each month, September – June, invited speakers have shared with us their interests ranging from ‘Leicester’s First Railway’ to ‘Healthy eating’. Inevitably, some of the subjects have been of mutual interest with the ladies and in recent years a good proportion of the evenings have been made Open.
